Refurbishment of an exclusive nightclub venue in Bucharest....A ”Downtown Club for Downtown People. Each sound wave is transformed into a beat. Each beat is transformed into a perception. Each perception is transformed into a feeling. Feel the rhythm...” With a capacity of 1,200 seats and an area of 10,000sqm the impressive new design will entice to the stage great names from the Romanian scene and world renowned international DJ's.

Client Brief

To create a new design language using contemporary finishes & innovative lighting design that will enhance the existing reputation of the super club.

Design Approach

Starting with a sleek black canvas we have injected pink & silver highlight colours. The main feature being the bespoke designed colour changing lit bar & decorative side panels giving the club that all new identity, diversity & elegance. The barasol ceiling can change the atmosphere of the space by streaming film or pictures or simply by different lighting schemes. To create an element of interest we have introduced a series of acrobatic mirrored mannequins that hang from the ceiling over the VIP areas & reflect the light around the space. There are more intimate seating areas sectioned off using magenta fringing with a large open plan circulation space around the central bars. The theme follows through to the club entrance & WC's. A spectacular & unique venue to dance the night away!
