Refurbishment

A unique & iconic establishment hidden in the back streets of Bayswater. This property was first designed by Anouska Hempel & now the team have been awarded the privilege of transforming the hotel yet retaining the essence of The Hempel.

Client Brief

A mixture of soft & hard refurbishment work. The Hempel is a reputable brand & we will therefore be maintaining hints of old designs with new innovative ideas to create a tranquil haven in the centre of bustling London.

Design Approach

The Hempel must have an elegant simplicity but a seamless functionality in its new design. We will be injecting some subtle colour & pattern to lift the very monolithic current interiors. The design style we will be implementing is know as ‘minimal chic’…a less is more approach in the main lobby promoting space & tranquillity & using zoning for more cosy areas. Although the public areas are all quite open plan, each will flow into the next but with a new & exciting design. The guestrooms are all unique & luxurious in their own right, varying in shape, size & design this makes for more interesting schemes & design touches.
