Architectural master-planning and full refurbishment
A 310 key hotel built in the 1960s on a hillside on Hvar Island overlooking the Aegean, it required complete interior and exterior modernisation with improved access to the beach front.
The Client Brief
To bring a sophisticated and contemporary approach to the hotel with a rationalisation of the levels and a softening of the zones between interior and exterior.
The Design Approach
The team have introduced contemporary finishes into the spaces with the use of high gloss lacquer and cool ceramics. The opening up of the spaces with new pivot doors across the public area levels will allow easy access to the external terraces, restaurants and pool.
